Lee Pearse was a brilliant celebrant. As this was Lee’s first same sex marriage, and ours, she was extremely professional and helpful in finding out legalities and details that we needed to know such as what terms can be used in various parts of the legal aspects of the ceremony. Lee from the outset was both helpful in providing us with ideas around where to begin and ultimately flexible in responding to our pace at developing a ceremony that felt right for us. She gave us the time to work through the ideas we would come up with and always took the stance that this was our ceremony and that she was there to help facilitate that. Most of all Lee exuded a real warmth and engagement with us and our guests. She has a beautiful calm, eloquent and poised demeanour while also being fun and attuned to the vibe of our ceremony. Many guests commented on what a great job Lee did and how relaxed and at ease she was which of course helped calm any nerves we had.
